New SuperPang DS

I’ve had some busy time with work and exams. I’ve just left a work, so I can concentrate on my main work and on my exams, and hopefully be an engineer by the end of the year. As soon as I have some free time I’ll go on developing the game.

I only want to tell you I’m still alive and working on next beta. What do you want to see for the next beta? Please leave comments.

This weekend I’m visiting a relative who is very bad at hospital, he won’t survive. Obviously, I’ve not done anything at all about the project.

Just uploaded the new demo version 0.1b. It features:

- Revised bounce of balloons

- Tighter collisions

- All three weapons

- Mini game style with score and high-score

EDIT: Forum up again, had probems for some hours…

I’ve added a intro screen, corrected speed of balloons, added the three weapons at the same time, fixed bounding boxes, implemented a score and high score system and programed ballons to appear higher and automatically, so it could be played cleanly.
As soon as I correct two minor graphic glitches I’ll post the new version! (That’s getting fun! :D)

P.S.: My highest score is 14470

The web page is almost completed by now. I’ll change the header picture and I’ll be satisfied… Meanwhile, do you think I shoud set up a forum, or is it enough with the comments system? Please leave comments…

By the way, the RSS feed is working too…

By this time, I have all three weapons working (and they look wonderful!), so next demo will arrive very soon, I hope there will be download links by this weekend.

The demo will feature:

• Full animated balloon explosions
• Corrected speed and bounce of ballons
• ALL THREE WEAPONS
• Mini-game style: no more need to press button for new ball
